I'm an overall coder but I learned NPC scripts first, so im best with those. I can pretty much make any NPC, except event coded ones. I know Arrays, For loops, etc..
Player commands are meh, dont make me do to much of em, not 100%.
Source coding is what im practicing now, making good progress.
XMl edits, even a child could do it, so that includes me

My speciality are npc/source based minigames, events.
I have created many before, on my old servers, I was praised cus of my ideas and originality.
Some of them: Hit and run, bomberman, Tower Rush, Guess the mob, and many more.

Where do you convert a higher version XML to a lower/server version XML.

I have really no idea why you would want to do that. Explain me the context?

I actually wanted to have custom stuff like hair. Therefore I'll just take the v88 XML and insert it into the server file and downgrade the v88 .wz into v83 for others to download. Is it this way? :O

Custom hairs are stored in the wz file. Character.wz , if you want custom v88 hairs, you'll need a wz editor to edit the hairs in a v62 character.wz and then put it in the zip file with your client to download. Editing the server's XML is just the data from the images stored in the WZ files. If you alter that, it will tell you your wearing the new hair, but you sont see the image.

Yes, every single player will have to download and replace his Character.wz . If not they will dc everytime they come near another character with new hairs.

So you are running v83 and you want to replace one of the old hairs with a new one..
Well you will still need to replace everyone's WZ file. Trust me, if ANY IMAGE changes ingame, your wz file changes.

So it doesn't matter if you add new hairs, replace old ones, or whatever. -> WZ edits.

I know that everyone have to have it. I need a downgrade program. To downgrade v88 .wz to v83 .wz so others can download. lolol.

There is no 'simple' program where you click 'downgrade' and poof, everything is done. There are wz edit programs like HaCreator for map.wz and stuff. But it takes alot of time and effort to single handly change every image of every hair, skills, map, etc..

You might want to hire a WZ editor to do the job for you. Also I can edit map.wz but not very good, as mentioned in my App, I'm more of a NPC/reactor/source coder.

Again, you do NOT need to alter the XML, it's the wz file.

Hmm, okay, there's no way I could actually have a complied v83 and v88 hairs together?

There is a way, but how you fix that with the ID's, idk. I'm not a WZ editor and I've never done Character.wz.
